The Moving Archive Project is a community-based archive dedicated to preserving, documenting, and sharing the works of choreographers who have shaped the vibrant dance history of Oregon and the Pacific Northwest.
Rooted in deep community engagement and archival best practices, the project was created by Executive Director Shaun Keylock in 2020 as a response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Since the launch of the project, Conduit has preserved more than 15 historic works and hundreds of hours of archival footage from regional artists and community elders.
